　　A tunnel kiln is a modern continuous firing thermal equipment widely used in the firing production of ceramics, refractory materials, and other products. Its basic structure is a long, straight tunnel with fixed walls and arches on both sides and the top, and tracks on the bottom for kiln cars to run on. Combustion equipment is located on both sides of the middle of the tunnel kiln, forming a fixed high-temperature zone - the firing zone. High-temperature flue gas flows in the tunnel and gradually preheats the products, forming a preheating zone. Cold air is blown into the kiln tail to cool the products and recycle the heat, forming a cooling zone.

According to the firing temperature, tunnel kilns can be divided into low-temperature, medium-temperature, high-temperature, and ultra-high-temperature tunnel kilns; according to the heat source, they can be divided into flame and electric tunnel kilns; according to whether the flame enters the tunnel, they can be divided into bright flame, shielded flame, and semi-shielded flame tunnel kilns; according to the transportation equipment, they can be divided into car-type, pusher-type, roller-hearth, conveyor belt, step-type, and air-cushion tunnel kilns.
