Yunnan Suotong Yun Aluminum Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. has successfully ignited the 76 room and 132 tank calcination furnaces for the pre baked anode project

　　On April 10, the 600kt/a pre-baked anode project (Phase I) of Yunnan Suotong Yunlv Carbon Material Co., Ltd.'s 900kt/a high-current density energy-saving carbon material and waste heat power generation project successfully ignited 76 baking furnaces and 132 calcining furnaces, marking the project's gradual entry into the commissioning and operation phase.

　　Since the official commencement of construction in June 2020, the Suotong Yunlv 900kt/a carbon material project (Phase I) has overcome the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the concerted efforts of all cadres and employees, and the day-and-night construction of all participating units, the project and production personnel worked closely together to control quantity, ensure safety, accelerate progress, and guarantee deadlines. In just 10 months, the construction of 76 baking furnaces and 4 sets of 132-can calcining furnaces was completed.

　　In addition, the four furnace chambers in the calcination workshop will be gradually ignited and commissioned as needed. The No. 2 56-chamber baking furnace in the baking workshop is expected to be completed and dried in mid-May, and the entire project is planned to achieve full process integration in the third quarter.
